I've been told by several artists that this particular piece appears to be evocotive of the 19th century aesthetic ideal: Edgar Degas. The saxophone belongs to my father-in-law who performed with it during his younger years. For those of you who are artists and are studying this work, the trick to this aesthetic sensibility is to make the viewer believe that they seeing lots of detail, but in actuality they are merely seeing atmospheric, textural brushstrokes and scumbles. --Mutiplicity within simplicty is the key to this artistic paradigm. --Hall Groat II
